Deemed by Ripley’s Believe It or Not to be the “Crookedest Street In The World,” Iowa’s Snake Alley is not in fact the most crooked street even in the United States (that honor goes to San Francisco’s Lombard Street), however this winding thoroughfare has its own twisted history.
